Serrote Wind and Solar Complex - Ceará

The Serrote Hybrid (Wind and Solar Photovoltaic) Complex, located in the municipality of Trairi, in the state of Ceará, was one of Qair’s first projects in Brazil. There are 49 V150 wind turbines from the Danish manufacturer Vestas, with a total installed capacity of 205.8 MW. It’s currently in commercial operation.

The second stage of the project, called Serra do Mato, considered an expansion. There is another 29 wind turbines with a generating capacity of 121.8 MW, already completed the construction of the wind energy phase and are in commercial operation, while the solar energy is in the construction phase. The last planned stage is solar-photovoltaic, which will come with a capacity of 101 MW.
