Sustainability - Forest restoration plan
Reinforcing our commitment to the environment, and as part of the forest restoration plan for areas involved in the Afonso Bezerra wind farm project, in Trairi, Ceará, we built Qair’s Casa de Vegetação – Nursery Forest. The space receives, in a cycle of every 20 days, around 4,000 seedlings of native species of the Caatinga biome, characteristic of the region, which are treated and undergo an adaptation period before, in the next phase, they are planted.
By the end of 2021, the expectation is to replace around 60,000 plant seedlings.
